Opened to the public in 2003, Brushy Creek Lake Park is a 90-acre park that offers many wonderful activities and natural opportunities. Hiking, biking and nature trails;  pavilions and picnic areas,  canoe/kayak launch; fishing pier; and a wildlife observation area top the list.  The 38-acre lake that was constructed in 1965 allows  fishing, non-motorized boating and wildlife observation.
